Inventory Support
To provide an efficient and effective inventory support to our customers, we have in place an on-line and real-time inventory system that links all our 22 branches and five depots throughout Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei and Singapore. Our inventory system is also connected to Caterpillar worldwide satellite-based ANTARES system, which provide us with access to Caterpillar worldwide facilities. This system provides us the capability to identify parts, location and filling of customers’ orders in a speedy manner.


To date, we have over 58,000 line items available in Malaysia and Brunei. We are further backup by Caterpillar Asia Distribution Center that has more than 195,000 line items available. This combination has provided our customer with 98% parts availability ex-stock. In the event of a part not being available in Tractors Malaysia and Caterpillar Asia Distribution Center, ANTARES system will allow Tractors Malaysia to conduct a worldwide search at 20 major Cat parts distribution centers around the world. Within a few hours, the required items will be on its way to our customers.
People
Tractors Malaysia’s Product Support personnel consist of 700 staffs throughout Malaysia and Brunei. With 350 skilled engineering support personnel, 85 experienced and skilled Product Support Specialists and 250 Parts & Inventory supporting staffs, each branch is dedicated to provide customers all the support they needed to maximize their equipment availability and minimize downtime and operating cost. Tractors Malaysia continuously trains our personnel to meet and exceed the industry standards and fast-paced customer requirements.
Technical Support
With direct access to the Caterpillar Network, latest technical information, product updates, and world-wide Caterpillar expertise and experience are readily available for Tractors Malaysia to provide high quality and comprehensive technical support to our customers.
Our personnel are trained internally and by Caterpillar to deliver high standard services to our customers. Our facilities equipped with advance tooling and testing equipment further enhances our capability in providing technical support to our customers.
