About Us
Established in July 2002, Sime Darby Industrial Academy caters to the training and development needs of its staff and external customers. It operates as a training and development centre for technical and management skills. The Academy is an approved National Vocational Training Centre, recognized by the Skills Development Department Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia.
All Jabatan Pembangunan (JPK) programmes run in Sime Darby Industrial Academy Sdn.Bhd., comply with the learning and practical modules requires by the National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS) and the certification system of the JPK stipulated by Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia.
Facilities
Sime Darby Industrial Academy is located
within the 35-acre Tractors Engineering Complex in Puchong, Selangor.
The facility consists of :
- 14 Lecture rooms
- 1 Library
- 1 Computer Application Lab
- 1 Electrical/Electronic Lab
- 2 Main Work Bays with the size of
5,554 sq.ft and 7836 sq.ft
- 3 Other Training Bays the size of
20ft by 20ft
